ROSE BOWL CENTENNIAL LOGO DESIGN CHALLENGE
The Rose Bowl is one of the most famous venues in entertainment history located in Pasadena California. Opened in October 1922, the stadium is recognized as a National Historic Landmark and a California Historic Civil Engineering landmark. The Rose Bowl is the 15th largest stadium in the world and the 11th largest stadium in the United States. Best known as a college football venue, specifically as the host of the annual Rose Bowl Game and since 1982, it has served as the home stadium of the UCLA Bruins football team. The stadium has also hosted five Super Bowl games, 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final, and the 1984 Olympic Gold Medal Match. In addition, the Rose Bowl has hosted some of the most iconic music legends such as The Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, Metallica, Jay-Z and Beyonce, BTS, Kenny Chesney and Jason Aldean, Justin Timberlake and so many more!
The Rose Bowl Stadium is turning 100 in 2022 and asking fans to design and inspire the official logo for the centennial campaign. The winner of the logo challenge will win $1,000.00 and season tickets to all 2020 UCLA football home games. The winning submission will either be used as the official logo for the campaign or be used by the stadium designers to inspire the final logo. All submissions must be entered by March 2nd, and the winner will be announced UPDATE: Due to COVID-19, the Rose Bowl Stadium has been forced to shut its doors. The contest winner will be announced as soon as we reopen. We apologize for the inconvenience. Submissions can range from a digital design to a drawing, we are leaving up to your incredible imagination!
HOW TO PLAY:
We never want to limit your creativity, so how this game is played is up to you! We just have a few quick steps that might make it a bit easier for you to get started:
1.) You can draw, paint or digitally create your logo - all we need is an uploaded image of your work (PDF, JPG or PNG format).
2.) All entries must be submitted before 11:59PM on March 2nd.
3.) HAVE FUN!
